About World Media Marketing

World Media Marketing is a Long Island-based social media marketing agency helping businesses grow through creative content, digital strategy, influencer partnerships, and engaging social media campaigns.

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and motivated Social Media Intern who loves social media and wants real, hands-on experience working with actual clients. This internship is ideal for someone interested in content creation, video editing, influencer marketing, branding, and digital advertising.

You won’t just be observing—you’ll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, assist with campaigns, and build valuable experience for your portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Assist with brainstorming and planning content for client accounts
• Help create photo and video content at select client locations
• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook
• Write engaging captions and social media copy
• Research current trends, sounds, hashtags, and content ideas
• Assist with scheduling posts and organizing content calendars
• Support community engagement by monitoring comments and messages
• Help coordinate influencer outreach and collaborations
• Assist with email marketing and paid social media campaigns
• Review social media insights and help identify what content performs best
• Maintain consistent branding and messaging across client accounts

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field
• Must be based on Long Island
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and current social media trends
• Creative with a strong eye for engaging content
• Excellent writing, communication, and proofreading skills
• Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
• Comfortable learning in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or other editing platforms is a plus
• Previous content creation or social media experience is helpful but not required
