Location: Los Angeles (Hybrid / Remote Flex)

Litra is building a community-driven brand through product development, social media, creator partnerships, and innovative marketing.
This internship is for someone serious about pet brands, communications, content creation, brand building, and creative execution.
Role Overview
The Communications Intern will support Litra’s external messaging, creator outreach, partnership development, brand storytelling, and digital communications. This role is execution-focused. You will help shape how Litra communicates with creators, customers, media, sponsors, and potential partners.
You will work directly with the Founder and gain exposure to brand strategy, influencer partnerships, marketing, communications, and growth planning.
This is not a passive internship. You will be expected to think creatively, communicate professionally, and execute projects that contribute directly to the growth of Litra.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Messaging
- Assist in refining Litra brand voice and positioning
- Draft press releases, media pitches, and brand announcements
- Help develop sponsorship outreach materials and partnership briefs
Public Relations & Media
- Research editors, stylists, influencers, and media contacts
- Build and update press lists
- Draft outreach emails and follow-ups
- Track press placements and features
Digital Communications
- Assist with Instagram captions, launch copy, and campaign messaging
- Help structure newsletters and brand updates
- Support website copy updates and product storytelling
Internal Communications
- Draft professional email communications
- Assist with sponsor decks and proposal messaging
- Organize brand messaging documents and shared driveS
Qualifications
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Clear, professional communication style
- Interest in social media
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools
- PR, marketing, journalism, or communications background preferred
