Social Media Marketing Intern

We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy Social Media Marketer to execute full-funnel digital strategy, drive community engagement, and run an aggressive voting campaign for high-level independent artist Showkase through September 1st. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media listening, and direct audience conversion while helping scale an impactful artist brand.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Voting Campaign & Conversion: Execute daily digital push campaigns across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Facebook) to convert casual listeners into daily voters. Actively educate fans on contest perks (e.g., 1 vote = 10 fan prize draw entries).
• Mandatory Campaign Voting: As a core member of the promotional team, you will participate directly by submitting daily votes for Showkase and coordinating voting drives across your personal and professional networks.
• Email Marketing & List Management: Manage, segment, and drive outreach across our core audience of 15,000+ followers and clients. Build and maintain dedicated email distribution lists for Showkase contest updates and call-to-action blasts.
• Content Creation & Media Editing: Conceptualize and produce engaging visual, video, and written content using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and short-form video editors to highlight Showkase's discography.
• Scheduling & Social Listening: Utilize tools like Hootsuite or Buffer to schedule posts, track real-time engagement, perform social listening, and monitor competitor activity to optimize post timing.
• Analytics & Performance Tracking: Analyze campaign metrics using platform-specific analytics to measure daily vote conversions, track reach, and continuously refine digital strategy.

Experience & Requirements

• Background or coursework in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
• Solid understanding of digital marketing tactics, call-to-action (CTA) frameworks, and audience growth strategies.
• Basic familiarity with email marketing platforms, graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva), and social media scheduling platforms.
• Excellent written communication skills, high self-motivation, and the ability to execute high-volume outreach on tight deadlines.
• Deep enthusiasm for independent music, hip-hop/R&B, and high-stakes campaign management.

Compensation & Perks

This is a non-paid, short-term internship running through September 1, 2026. While non-monetary, this role offers exclusive media access, high-level credentials, and direct audience exposure:

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per month
