Marketing and Office Assistant/ Paid internship

Magic, Balloons & More is a small entertainment company in Plainview producing everything from school magic shows and balloon events to foam parties and specialty products. We're looking for a dependable, creative person to help keep the office organized while also helping us tell the story of what we do. We are looking for a new Office and Marketing Assistant to join our team! This is an internship opportunity perfect for someone looking to build real-world marketing experience in a fun, fast-paced entertainment business.

As our Marketing intern, you’ll play an active role in growing our brand and supporting daily operations. Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating schedules and assisting with internal organization
• Occasionally communicating with current and prospective clients
• Writing engaging digital content (blogs, newsletters, postcard mailings, social media posts, website descriptions, and more)
• Managing and growing our presence across social media platforms
• Brainstorming and executing creative marketing campaigns and promotional ideas
• Supporting administrative tasks such as email correspondence and cross-team collaboration
• Occasionally attending live events (magic shows, balloon events, foam parties, and other gigs) to assist with marketing and content capture

• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Canva, Wix, and Mailchimp
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
